Lay-by Terms and Conditions
Layby is only available on selected machine products.
Additional items that do not qualify for layby can NOT be added to a layby.
The Lay-by period is for a maximum of eight (8) weeks.
Initial
Payments are deducted from your nominated credit card account automatically every fortnight. A reminder email will be sent 2 days before instalments are due.
Overdue payment reminder emails will be sent 1 & 2 days after payment was due. If payment is not made within seven (7) days then the layby will be deemed forfeited and the customer will be refunded any amounts paid to their original payment method less a 20% cancellation fee of the total purchase price.
A deposit must be a minimum of 20% of the total purchase value.
A cancellation fee of 20% of the total purchase price will be deducted from any refund due if a layby is cancelled by the customer.
If the Lay-by is not completely paid by the due date, then the Lay-by will be forfeited and a termination charge of 20% will be applied. Any extra payments made will be refunded on to the customers original payment method.
There are no returns or exchanges on Lay-by items with the exception of faulty goods or in accordance with your legislated rights.
The customer or Skat Katz has the right to cancel a Lay-by at any time for any reason.
If Skat Katz cancels the Lay-by due to unforeseen circumstances, then the customer will be entitled to a full refund of all payments made.
Customers will be contacted for all Lay-bys that are not completed by the due date. After the due date the Lay-by will be cancelled and the customer will be refunded for all payments made, less the termination charge of 20% of total purchase.
Any items placed on Lay-by cannot be altered.
No items can be taken by the customer until the entire Lay-by has been paid in full.
Once the item is paid in full it will be sent to the customer next business day, or will be available to be collected next business day.
